With regard to Southwell the Core Plan does not, in several policies, coincide with the requirements of the Neighbourhood Plan. Furter details are laid out in Q9

What changes do you suggest to make the document legally compliant or sound? CP10A
The development of new powerful Drainage designations and rules with regard to Planning, is welcome and the Town Councilnalso support cooperation with other authorities in particular Nottinghamshire County Council as the Local LFA. This co-operation should include a full engagement with the Southwell Town Council and the Southwell Flood Forum which has a full and detailed knowledge of the flood risk to the Town.
We also propose that all sites with applications for more than 5 properties should be modelled against the new ‘open source’ model of water flow, prepared by Notts CC and should be used in all flood risk analyses.
