We have reviewed the document and appendices and consider that it follows accepted guidance and methodologies and provides a thorough assessment of the potential environmental impacts of the revised core strategy. We acknowledge that Natural England's interests have been covered in the baseline information.

We acknowledge that additional information has been included relating to air quality including reference to the recent air quality assessments carried for the Thoresby Colliery application. We also welcome the additional detail regarding cat predation and dog disturbance including table 9.1 which sets out recommendations for appropriate mitigation measures to prevent adverse impact on nightjar and woodlark.
